Mediterranean / Marseille / France
Know a little about the destination
Marseille, a port city in the south of France, has been an important center of immigration and trade since it was founded by the Greeks around 600 BC. At its heart is the Vieux-Port (Old Port), where fishermen sell fish along the full pier of boats. The Basilica of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde is a Romanesque-Byzantine church. Modern monuments include Le Corbusier's influential Cité Radieuse complex and Zaha Hadid's CMA CGM Tower
